Learn How To Write Wedding Invitations In Two Languages

If you are planning your wedding, it is likely that someone with a particular special circumstance in your guest list, and especially if some of them come from outside. At the end of the day, is the most important day of your life and want to have all your loved ones close ... but live far away and read, speak or write in another language!

At the time of writing the wedding invitations is essential to have clear who will invite, and if it is the case that any of our guests do not speak our language. The invitations are the way to let our family and friends the important details of the link, and it is often their first contact with any information related to the wedding.

Doubts begin when choosing the style of the invitation : the simplest formula in these cases is to choose a model that does not abide, to print one language per side. It is important to talk with the supplier beforehand, to make sure the print is feasible, and whether it will have the desired quality.

You can also opt for a folded invitation. Each of the invitation is printed in a language, although in this case the space is smaller because we can only use half compared to non-folding model. If the invitation is sophisticated or contains enough information, it is always better to opt for the previous option.

The third alternative is the 'simultaneous translation': that is, alternating the same phrase in both languages. You can differentiate each using different fonts or different colors.

You can also choose a predominant foreign language, for example, and include in the envelope a little card with the desired language translation. The idea is to include only key information such as date and place of the wedding.

Finally, there is always the alternative though and most expensive, to print two different models, each in one language, and personally deliver them to each guest. So there will be no confusion!
